St James Parish Tourist Center
1094 Airline Hwy / US 61
Gramercy, LA
Its not too far off the Interstate, mid way between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, 50 miles either way, approx 10 miles from Oak Alley, lots of accommodations in Gonzales, to the west and LaPlace to the east.
This place is twice the size of the main 40X60 tent rented in previous years. Everything will be under one roof with cement floor, electrical hookups, fans, stage, band stand, rest rooms 10 feet away, boardwalk through the swamp, ample parking, and security night lights. Also, we would never have to worry about being rained out and we could have an orderly coop out Sunday Morning if need be.
Here are some pictures that the Cajun Serama Council took while visiting the grounds.

Serama Cajun Classic 2012 hosted by Cajun Serama Council at Oak Alley Plantation
The Cajun Classic was held in Vacherie, La., April 13th and 14th, 2012, hosted by the Cajun Serama Council at Oak Alley Plantation. American Bantam Association (ABA) and Serama Council of North America (SCNA) sanctioned , the show had over 350 Serama entered, covering all three types of Serama; the American, the Traditional and the Malaysian, in the smooth, the frizzled and silkied varieties.
It was a great event and by far the most premier Serama only show of its kind in North America. Below, a happy Jerry Schexnayder - the importer of Serama's to America.
