HEAD: Plumage, bright orange.
NECK: Hackle - brilliant light orange, free from dark striping or tipping, to match saddle. Front of Neck - white, some blending of very light orange allowed.
BACK: Rich red with some luster.
SADDLE: Brilliant light orange, free from dark striping or tipping, to match hackle.
TAIL: Main Tail - white. Sickles, Lesser Sickles & Coverts - white, with some luster.
WINGS: Shoulders & Fronts - White. Coverts - pure white, free from splashes and ticking, forming a distinct bar across wings. Primaries - white except lower feathers, outer bar of which is bay. Secondaries - white, part of outer web forming wing bay, rich red bay. Bows - rich red with some luster.
BREAST: White.
BODY, STERN & LOWER THIGHS: White.
UNDERCOLOR: White.

HEAD: Plumage, bright orange.
NECK: Hackle - white laced with bright orange. Front of Neck - Salmon.
BACK, CUSHION, TAIL & WINGS: White.
BREAST: Rich pinkish salmon.
BODY, STERN, LOWER THIGHS & UNDERCOLOR: White.
Defects
Dark striping and tipping in male hackle - Red splashing and ticking in male wing coverts and breast - Red in female wings - Black tickings in male wings and tail - Reddish cast on back of female - Female nearly pure white - Red tinge in male breast - Slight gray or black flecking in white plumage of male (from males carrying the black red color factors) - "Rosey winged" females are useful only in the breeding pen to retain color for the production of well marked cockerels.
